We mean it when we say nuts are natures perfect snack.
In an article on Healthy children’s snacks in the San Marcos Record, by Susan Schramm, she states that children gain more weight during the summer months due to unhealthy eating habits and inactivity. She advises parents to make sure their children have at least 60 minutes of outdoor play time and give them healthy snack choices.
Yumnuts is not only a great healthy snack for children, but they taste great too! With six different flavors, children young and old are sure to find one they love. At the HeathNet Triathlon in Shelton this past weekend, I found that children were nuts about Yumnuts! Children were particularly enjoying Chocolate, Toasted Coconut, and Sea Salt flavored Yumnuts cashews (what about the Honey?!). Our young Yumnuts lovers didn’t realize that our cashews had no added oils, no artificial flavors, or the many other healthy benefits our Yumnuts have. All they knew was that they loved Yumnuts!
