Yumnuts asks, “What makes you say yum?”

Yumnuts co-founder Jerome Metivier is about to hop on a plane to Paris, France for a long weekend.  For Jerome, who grew up in Paris, the thought of going back home is 100% Yum.  He will have the opportunity to spend time with family, eat at his favorite restaurant and see some familiar sites.  Jerome’s trip to France reminds us to ask, “what makes you say Yum?”

As you can imagine, there are a lot of “Yum” memories from Jerome that stem from France.  In fact, here are a few of Jerome’s anwers to our YumBlog questions:

1.  What is your favorite Yum sound?   - The sounds of the cork popping on a bottle of Bordeaux

2.  What is your favorite Yum smell?  - The smell of Paris after a rainstorm in August

Bon voyage, Jerome!  We hope you enjoy the trip and have the chance to experience first hand your favorite ‘yum’ sound and ‘yum’ smell on the trip.  Take pictures of Yumnuts at the Eifle Tower.

What is your favorite yum smell?

HAVE FUN JEROME!! Make sure to visit the Louvre while you are there. Do they have as much trouble understanding your french accent as we do? ENJOY!! Bring me back some awesome Bordeaux.

A well-lit stage, fog machine, packed house and sunburst Fender Stratocaster plugged into a dimed amp stack. *throws fist into the air, steps up to the mic, yells* “Yum!!”

After 12 hours flight, NY, DC, Frankfurt (Was not planned at all!!!) and then Paris. Paris in May is the best. Only 1 bag was able to follow up through this survivor trip, the good news is the its one I put the Yumnuts bags in. Everybody loved it, so far Cajun is the winner of the French pallet.
