Now he's Yumnuts' finance guru, bringing a strong managerial background and well-travelled spirit to the enterprise. Jerome and his wife Julie have three boys, a dog named Mango, and lives in New Canaan, CT
Jerome's worked on five continents, holds three citizenships and sees himself as a citizen of the world. He started his career selling baby food and natural spring water at Danone, then moved to Walnut Acres, which was the first organic brand in the US. Following Walnut Acres, he worked at Lipton and, most recently, Bear Naked.
Mike’s one of those guys who excels in all sports. Mike's been an All-Ivy placekicker at Cornell, a professional baseball pitcher in the independent leagues, a one-handicap golfer, and is currently ranked #1 in the world in Platform Tennis. He won the National Championship in 2007. In his free time, Mike teaches paddle tennis around the country, enjoys cooking and spending time with his fiancé, Carolyn.
Son of a nut broker, Mike worked with his father in the cashew industry for over 15 years. That meant he was eating cashews before most people knew what they were, let alone that they are a great healthy snack. Mike's traveled to India on many occasions to oversee the cashew harvest.
His entrepreneurial spirit was itching to be unleashed so he teamed up with the guys at Yumnuts to create something special. Kevin was a competitive runner but now his legs prefer a ride on his mountain bike or road bike. Kevin and his wife Kim recently welcomed a son into the world and live in Greenwich, CT along with their dog, who’s kind of nuts.
You could say Kevin grew up in a marketing family. His father was building brands and his mother was promoting brands having done print ads as a baby, so he was fascinated with branding and advertising long before he actually knew what it all meant. Fast forward a few years and now it was Kevin’s turn at brand building, primarily in confections for both large and medium-sized companies.
